On the latest episode of the Empowered Homes Podcast, Bobby, Joe, and Meg discuss the challenges of Parenting Athletes. Raising an athlete requires intentionality and a great deal of patience! As parents, our role is not to act as the coach (unless we're actually coaching our child's team), but to support and guide them toward fulfilling their higher, God-given purpose.

Regardless of our own athletic background, we, as parents, need to be mindful of any unhealthy emotional attachments to our child's performance, which can make it harder to focus on the bigger picture. It’s easy to lose sight of the Gospel and forget that life lessons should take precedence over wins, points, or breaking records. It's important to embrace the opportunity to nurture growth through these experiences.
